Outlook error code 0x80040116, it the most common error that can be occur on the Microsoft office outlook. This error code is generally appears when you start Microsoft office outlook, or when you are try to open a personal folders (PST) files, this situation you may receive the following error message:

The given solution for outlook error 0x80040116 is correct but sometime inbox repair tool not work properly and withour repairing the pst file gives the message that the pst file has repaired successfully but the error is still coming so you can use a third party tol to repair pst file and it also used as pst recovery tool.
